Cybercultural update: launching paid subscriptions
I’m pleased to announce I’m launching paid subscriptions for the Cybercultural newsletter. Here’s what this means:
Starting Monday, I’ll be publishing 3 emails per week for paid subscribers.
The cost is $7 per month (or $70 per year, if you’d prefer to pay annually).
Paid subscribers will receive three emails per week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings ET.
You’ll need a paid subscription to receive every update from now on. But don’t worry, if you choose not to subscribe you’ll continue to receive one article per week for free.
Important note: if you subscribe now at the $7 monthly or $70 annual rate, you’ll never pay any more than that. I plan to increase the rate to $10 per month once Cybercultural becomes a viable business, but subscribing now guarantees you’ll always pay the current rate. Think of it as an early adopter discount.
Why am I doing this now?
Because I’m a proud indie journalist and this is my day job. Good things don’t come for free, or at least that’s the direction online media is increasingly heading. But at just $7 per month ($1.62 per week!), I’m positive you’ll find the newsletter great value.
If you’re a regular reader of Cybercultural, I hope you’ll consider subscribing and thus helping to support my work as a digital journalist.
